Golden Rule Family Child Care LLC is a Christian-based early learning daycare offering a safe, loving, and engaging environment for students to thrive in, regardless of their race/ethnicity, gender, religious beliefs, or abilities. Ages of children served are two (2) to twelve (12).
Golden Rule Family Child Care LLC [GRFCC] is state-licensed, has been thoroughly inspected, and has met all health, safety, and program standards required by DHHS and the Office of Child and Family Services. GRFCC will adhere to these standards, including capacity limitations stated on the license. The maximum capacity at any one time is eleven (11) students.
GRFCC offers curriculum and materials designed to focus on social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language learning. Learning is facilitated through guided and free-play as well as “centers” activities involving art, building, science, and music. Activities are highly engaging and interactive and selected for the growth and development of the student.
GRFCC provides nutritional meals and snacks for all students which is covered by your tuition costs. These include: (1)breakfast, (2)morning snack, (3)lunch, and (4)afternoon snack.
Parent involvement is welcome and valued. Teachers will be in regular contact with parents throughout the day utilizing the BrightWheel app with pictures and notifications, and can be reached through calls and text messaging. We have an “open-door” policy and parent drop-ins are always welcomed.
Indoors you will find us involved with circle time, learning toys, puzzle-solving, art, cooking, singing, dancing, dramatic-play, and reading, as well as fun activities that develop fine motor skills for writing. We use a fenced-in outdoor play area with safe and fun playground equipment as well as an outdoor “classroom” (gated deck with table and seating) for additional outdoor time for structured activities, meals, and free and guided play.
